At 0726 I found the same U/F that has been in residence at RI for some days now. She was up in the Morning Glory, 30 ft left of 1BS.At 0750 a 100% molted Kainoa (RN04) hauled out, and galumphed up to join her. Both would move down, and remained the rest of the day.
At 1258 on a pan I found Cass (RG06) just moving up from behind the rocks at Rocky Right Beach.
Mahalos to Missus W., Melanie & new posse member Cate for trekkin’ the trek in the SE quadrant. Unfortunately , the SE cast was the RI crew.
Thanks to Val Bloy for the latest Rocky(RH58)&PK4 news from Kauai, as well as great shots of Pohaku’s boy, RG28.There had been zero news from anywhere on Oahu, until Karen Turner’s 1800 email, advising that Holokai(PO3) was at the Keiki Pool all day today, without Ua. After a few practice departures it looks like a weaner is a distinct possibility. Thank You Karen !!!!!!! Thanks too, to Jon Gelman for an additional Holokai shot showing what may be cucumber yuck on his lip ?
DanaMail also confirmed the day long absence of Ua Malie, as of 1845.
