7/26/2015 DB's Dailies: Cass&Kainoa@RI, Kaiwi@KK&SC, La'akea, Ua & Holokai

It was a zoo in the SE quadrant today. Above & beyond the usual weekend chaos, the recovery operation for the two guys lost yesterday (one was recoved this morning), continued. Blowhole was a nearly impossible place to get to, and everything from Sandy Beach to Hanauma Bay was wall to wall people. Thanks to Marilyn, Melanie & Gayle for trying to negotiate the chaos thru the day. Their hard work would prove fruitful.

At 0759 I found Kainoa (RN04), 40 ft left of 1BS, on Rabbit Island. He would move down to cool off, and remained all day.

Cass (RG06) would haul out of Seal Rock Inlet on RI, at 1154.

A 0856 Missus Whisperer (Marilyn), reported Kaiwi (RK96) at Irma’s Grotto, Kokee Flats. Posse member Linda reported her departure at 1030, due to the humongous surf, and high tide.

At 1300 Melanie found Kaiwi foraging at Spitting Cave, which is just a few flipper flaps from her KK, morning location.

called at 1128, from Turtle Bay, where they were taking down the Ola site, to advise that Ola (RG03)was there. She would be joined ate 1217 by an U/U. She also advised that La’akea was at Right Spot’s Spot, and Ua&Holokai were at the Keiki Pool. Karen Turner sent shots of a 90% molted La’akea (RK82), and Ua & Holokai (RT10).

During that same call Dana reported an U/U reportedly raiding a net in Hauula, (no other info), and an U/U at 3Tables.

In the Yesterday’s News department posse member Rikki Goble was out at Ka’ena Point yesterday, with Marilyn. She sent shots from her KP trek, showing RL42, RW02,RIP & Temp 319. The battle scenes look to be boyz being boyz. The blood on Temp319's belly, are most probably a reopening of a fresh CC wound, as oppose to a bite.
