5/19/2015 DB's Dailies: Sadie,PO2,Kolohe&Kainoa@RI, RK36@GR, Rocky@Kaimana,Kekoa@Maili Pt, RL42@Makua Cliffs, Kimo Kai@LahiLahi, RI37@Kauai

On my first look at Rabbit Island , at 0702 I found Kolohe (RW22) snoozin’ in the Morning Glory, 60 ft left of 1BS, Sadie&PO2 snoozin’ at the log, 40 ft left of 1BS, and Kainoa (RN04) also snoozin’, at the vegetation line, 80 ft right of 3BS. The entire cast remained all day.

 When I got back to Makai Pier at 0849 Sadie&PO2 were in the water. They would haul out at 0920. They did another swim from 1100-1144, and entered the water again at 1215. I had to depart for an appointment so I don’t know their haul out time.

 At 0638 Team Billand called with a report of RK36, foraging with another animal off shore of Guard Rails, but they lost them and did not see them again.

At 0858 Dana called to advise that Rocky (RH58) had apparently overnighted at Kaimana Beach. She reported Rocky’s departure at 0836.

 Team Billand reported Kekoa 9RK72 at Maili Point at 0830.

 At 0953 they found RL42 at Makua Cliffs.

 At 1026 the Billands found Kimo Kai (RT12) at LahiLahi.

 A call from my pal Val, on Kauai brought word that RF28 had been successfully captured today and is being brought to Oahu for hook assessment. During the same conversation Val also advised that she had confirmed RI37 on Kauai today.
