9/20/2014 Lesley's Ka'ena Point Trek

Marilyn and I were joined by Lori (a friend from Portland) to do the KPt hike and HMS monitoring.

It was brutally hot but we made it !

Our only seal was RO40 "Ka'ena" at the entrance of his pool.

We checked Birth Beach/Mokuleia on our way in and out  - there was no sign of RN58 "Luana"

One of the MonkSealSighting calls to the Hotline today was reporting RO28 "Pohaku" on a second haul out of the day - of all places she opted to bomb a wedding party at Secrets/Paradise Cove this afternoon .
