At 0635 I found Buster (RV08) back in his rut at Blowhole, doing 7 minute dives. I last saw him swimming east at 0933. Sandy Beach posse member , Jesse called at 0938 to advise of an animal just starting to haul out at the east end of Sandy Beach. When I arrived at 0943 I found Buster (RV08) hauling out. I cordoned him off. Buster rolled to the sea at 1832. Thank you Gayle !!

At 0704 I found what would prove to be Kainoa (RN04) in the Morning Glory, 80 ft right of 3BS on Rabbit Island. At 1035 I found Sadie (RB12) out on the left end rock flats, and Aukai (RL12) at the left end of the beach on RI.

Team Billand called at 0735 advising that Brandi had called with a Hotline report of 2 animals at Iroquois Point. When the Billands arrived they were advised that the animals had been run off by dogs.

At 0804 the Billands reported RIP (RR70) & M&M (R020) fronting #1707, White Plains. Thanks to Diane T.

At 0949 Ocean Safety called with the report of 2 animal at Nanakuli. Debbie responded but there was no confirmed ID. The animals were gone when the Billands arrived.

At 1022 Team Billand reported U’ilani (RN36) at the Reef Runway.

At 1121 the highlight of the day came with a call from the Billands advising that Makaiwi (R4DF) had arrived at the Reef Runway, and that she and U’ilani returned to the water to play. They were last seen swimming off to the east.

At 1023 Dana called to advise that Karen Turner had found T21M at Turtle Bay.

At 1330 Team Billand found Nihoa (R912) at LahiLahi Beach, Makaha.

Mark & Sarah were out on bleach patrol today. They got a new N7 on R5AY. Thank you..... very much !
